Everyday skilled nursing centers assist seniors and people living with disabilities in living their appiest and best lives. Whether it’s planting, cooking, reading, or listening to music, these centers pay it forward by helping individuals find their own happiness to improve quality of life. This year, National Skilled Nursing Care Week will focus on living soulfully and will celebrate skilled nursing centers, their residents and staff, by showcasing how they achieve happy minds and healthy souls. Hibbard Skilled Nursing Center in Dover-Foxcroft will be offering the following activities for the week of Sunday, May 12th through Friday, May 17th in conjunction with National Skilled Nursing Care Week. Sunday, May 12th - 10 AM Mother’s Day Social in the actvitiy room. 2 PM Mother’s Day Church Services with Pastor Chris Viera of the Dover-Foxcroft Baptist Church also in the activitiy room; Monday, May 13th - 10 AM Super Progressive Bingo in the Solarium Dining Room. 2 PM Battle fo the Dips, Feeding souls and taste testing in the activity room. 6:30 PM Burleigh Raven Accordion Man; Tuesday, May 14th - 10 AM game Time with Renie Goulette in the activity room. 2 PM Super Big Bingo in the Solarium Dining Room. 6:30 PM Elvis, Musical performance by Don Boudreau in the activity room; Wednesday, May 15th - 10 AM Slotz Ball, let’s play and win some dough in the activity room. 2 PM Super Progressive Bingo in the Solarium Dining Room. 5 PM Family Night Dinner; Thrusday, May 16th - 10 AM Super Big Bingo in the Solarium Dining Room. 2 PM Auto Harp with Lewis Jones in the activity room. Friday, May 17th - 10 AM Super Progressive Bingo, TM in the dining room. 2 PM Live musical performance by Fred Pike and Deb activity room. There will be a raffle to benefit the Activity Fund. Be sure to see an activity staff member to purchase tickets.
